Wayne Lee Campbell, 42, of Perkins, OK, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Marena Cemetery.
Wayne was born to Wayne and Mary Campbell in Perry, OK on October 8, 1974. He grew up in Coyle, OK and attended Coyle Public Schools until he graduated in 1993. After completing High School, he started his life with Marissa Chapman; together they had three children William, Maizy, and Lucas Campbell. They lived in Stillwater, later moved to Nowata, and then back to Pawnee.
Wayne moved back to Stillwater in 2011, and worked as an over the road truck driver for PAM trucking. After getting to travel around and see the country, he settled back in Stillwater, where he met Jeannie Brandon. Together, they started a new chapter in Waynes’ life. His farm and animals were his favorite past time. He enjoyed cookouts, bon fires, and spending any time he could with family and friends. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. Wayne had many stories to tell of the places he had been and the people he had met. These stories, as well as all of his joking around, were a favorite of his niece and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Samuel and Francis Battles of Coyle, OK; Lloyd and Elsie Campbell of Perry, OK; Wife, Marissa Campbell of Pawnee; three Children, William Lee Campbell, Maizy Maya Campbell, and Lucas Wayne Campbell and other extended family.
He is survived by his mother and father, Wayne and Mary Campbell of Coyle; Spouse, Jeannie Brandon; one son, Wayne Lee Campbell Jr; two sisters, Tina Williams and Husband Ted; Stella Campbell and Husband Justin; two step daughters, Rachel Renollet, and Kylie Renollet; two nieces, Emma Campbell and Kyler Brandon; four nephews, Braden Williams, Tristan Williams, Bryik Brandon and Bryer Brandon.
