Charles Walter Lincoln, 87, the last surviving full blood member of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, passed away on September 10, 2019 at his home in Perkins, Oklahoma. His funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Iowa Community Center in Perkins, Oklahoma. Interment will be at the Iowa Indian Cemetery East of Perkins. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Charles was born on May 17, 1932 to Jack Lincoln and Kate (Murray) Lincoln in Perkins, Oklahoma. He married Ellen (Truda) Chambers on April 17, 1959 in McCamey, Texas.
He attended the Independence School. His early years were spent working in the West Texas Oilfield. He then moved to Tryon, Oklahoma and was a Ranch Hand, and later became a Night Watchman for the Iowa Tribal Police.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife Ellen (Truda) Lincoln; father and mother, Jack & Kate Lincoln; sisters, Mary Lincoln, Alice Garcia and Lydia Myers; brothers, Abraham Lincoln, Will Rogers Lincoln; daughter, Katie Lincoln; and grandson, Robby Fowble.
He is survived by daughters, Billie Lincoln-Mauldin and Renee Lincoln; grandchildren, Charles and William Lincoln Kubecka, Dylan and Lindsey Prince, Abe, Haylee, Hattie & Sadie Lincoln, Sandy and Summer Hughes, Brian Prince. Great Grandchildren Ryder Davis and Lillian Kate Lincoln.
Pallbearers are Charles and WiIlliam Lincoln-Kubecka, Dylan Prince, Abe Lincoln, Bobby Walkup and Wesley Chasteen. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Mauldin, Zachary Barrett, Vic Roubidoux, Frank McClellan and Bill Johnson.
