Obituary

MARTHA FRANCES SCHUPP, 92 1/2, died at home October 7, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 24 at Stillwater Bible Church, 7617 W. 6th Avenue, Stillwater OK 74076.

She was born December 28, 1926, in Long Beach CA, the daughter of Fred I. and
Evelyn Ruth Hamma.

Frances graduated from Albany High School in 1945. Following graduation, she worked at Capwell’s as a switchboard and elevator operator.

She married Jack Schupp and they moved to Pleasant Hill CA, where they brought up their six children, three daughters, and three sons. Frances then worked at Macy’s in Concord, CA. In 1977, she and Jack moved to Clarksville, AR where she worked at Johnson County Hospital. Frances finished her career at Greater Suburban Mortgage in Alameda, CA and was a hospital volunteer at both Johnson County and St. Dominic’s Hospital in Manteca, CA.

Frances was predeceased by her grandson, Dennis in 2000, ex-husband Jack in 2011, and sister-in-law Shirley Hamma in 2019. Surviving Frances are her brothers, Robert and Donald Hamma; sister-in-law, Nancy Hamma; her children Paul and Christine Zingrich, Jim and Kathy Kelly, Steve and Doree Hoit, Mark and Maggie Schupp, Brian and Stephanie Schupp, Craig and Missy Schupp, adopted son, Dennis and Sue Crockett, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
