I remember Jack as a courteous, kind and considerate classmate. He was a gentleman, smart and very friendly. I never saw Jack after graduation day but am happy to see that he enjoyed a very nice, loving family and a successful career. Along with the others in our Istrouma class of 1955, I send my condolences and prayers for his family as they celebrate the life of their dearly loved Jack.

Jack was a regular at the coffee shop for many years and will truly be missed by his friends and acquaintances. He sat at the back table that is permanently reserved for his group- The V.I P’s. The friendship they shared was special and sincere. They have really been there for each other and it has been neat to watch over the years. Even as it became more difficult for him to get around, he came- unless he was watching a tournament. When he didn’t show, someone would check on him. He was usually the first one there and would listen to his audio books on his iPhone or go through pictures of his grandkids and liked to share them. There’s a group of helpers from the Sheltered Workshop and they loved to shake hands or high five Jack on their way in. They were drawn to him and his kindness. He always had a smile for them and they too, will miss him. I am so grateful I got to know Jack. He was a lively character and one of my all time favorite customers. I will greatly miss Jack’s presence and sweet smile ♥️ I will never forget him.
