Charles Raymond Brewer (Chuck), 79, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on November 9, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at St. Francis hospital after suffering a heart attack earlier in the week.
A memorial service will be 2:00pm on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, OK.

Chuck was born in Akron, Ohio on March 5, 1940. He attended college at the University of Akron in Ohio. He also attended Baldwin Wallace University and worked at Firestone . His first marriage was to Twila and they had a daughter, Carol. They ended up going their separate ways after a few years of marriage. Chuck worked for Hewlett Packard, General Electric Company, Microsoft, and many other known companies. He was vice president in several businesses. He got to travel extensively throughout his career. Chuck had the opportunity to go to Egypt, London, and all over the United States. He moved to Florida to work as a director at SEL, a computer company, and met Linda for the first time in 1976. In 1989, Chuck and Linda had been friends for many years and he finally proposed. They were married on September 15, 1991. Chuck always dreamed of owning his own business. So, he started a successful satellite company, Learnsat Communications, in Florida and then moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1994 to grow the company. In 1993, their daughter Lynnette was born in Eustis, Florida. His next business venture was buying and running for the last 20 years of his life. Chuck was involved in politics throughout his life and ran for state senator. He was an active member of the Stillwater Rotary Club for many years. He enjoyed watching western movies and interacting with his dogs, especially his Jack Russell Terrier, Rose.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Inez Brewer and his daughter, Carol Lape.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Linda Brewer; daughters, Lynnette Disney and Kari Kimmel-Haskell and his five grandchildren.

My sympathies and prayers to the Brewer Family. Carol would stress how her father grew in Christ, cared for others, and loved animals. He certainly helped our family and was more than a father and Grand-father. We Love you Chuck, Kevin, Christopher, Austin, and Steven Lape.
