Obituary

Donna Rae McDonald was born October 8, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed from this world on November 29, 2019.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Harmon Lee and Billie Ruth McDonald and her sister Deanna Ruth McNamar.

Donna was a former warehouse worker at Tinker Air Force base, however her favorite job was working at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Donna loved nature and all creatures great and small. A trip to the zoo was one of her favorite things to do. She insisted that there would be food and water left out for any creature that may come across the property where she lived. She loved reading and music with Cher being her all time favorite performer. She deeply loved her four great nieces and her great nephew. Her favorite dedicated furry companion was Percy, her giant Maine Coon cat.

She is survived by her sister, best friend, and travel partner, Karen Spilman; also her niece Stacie McNamar Summers and her husband Bob Summers, her nephew Chad McNamar and his wife Tracy McNamar, her great nieces Reagan, Elizabeth, and Charity Summers, little Elizabeth (Squishy) McNamar, and her great nephew Isaiah McNamar. Donna’s smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
