Bobby Gene Buck passed from this life on December 11, 2019. Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Monday December 16, 2019 at Strode Funeral Home. The graveside service will begin at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 17 at the Carney Cemetery. Strode Funeral and Cremation is in charge of the service.

Bobby was born on March 17, 1928 to Leonard and Gladys (Anderson) Buck and grew up in the Tryon, Oklahoma area where he attended both grade school and high school. He served in the army from 1948 to 1950 and on December 5, 1950, he married Mary Lou Hagar.
He had a long career in the oilfield and also worked at the Stillwater Airport as a maintenance supervisor from 1967 until he retired in 1993. While there he received several awards for outstanding performance. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening and spending time with his family.
Bob is described as being strong, hardworking, honest and caring by everyone who knew him.
He will be greatly missed.
Preceding him in death were his wife Mary, his parents and brothers Roy, Ray and Jack.
Surviving him are his children Judy of Perkins, Deborah of Tryon and Bobby (Stacy) of Perkins and also his brother John of Mannford. Grandchildren: Michael Buck of Perry, Andrea Welch (Colton) of Perkins, Kaitlyn Dewbre (Will) of Perkins, Tabitha of Perkins, Josh (Terra) Loree of Perkins, Shannon Abdollmahamdi (Ali) of Seattle Wa. Great-grandchildren Arezu and Arman Abdollmahamdi of Seattle, Emma Loree of Perkins, Dillon and Olivia Buck of Perry, Abigail and Brynlee Dewbre of Perkins, Kylie Welch of Perkins, Rylee and Reagan Welch of Vinita and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Buck, Mike Buck, Josh Loree, Dillon Buck, Colton Welch and Will Dewbre.
