Carolyn was born on October 26, 1946, to Roy (Junior) and Alta Morine (Arthur) Bostian, in Stillwater, OK. Carolyn graduated from Perkins High School in 1965 and attended Central State College in Edmond. She married John Moorman at the Coyle Christian Church on January 16, 1966 and was the mother of two children, Clayton and Sonja. She was a devout Christian and played the piano for many years at Paradise Baptist Church. She held several jobs over the years, including working with her parents at their furniture store and the Perkins Tag Agency for several years until an aneurysm caused her to take early retirement. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother. She was most proud of her last job, helping raise her granddaughter, Emma, after the sudden death of Emma’s mother. She was always ready to help her friends and family in any way she could.
Carolyn loved company and was always ready to bring family and friends into her home. Her face would light up with the arrival of any and all visitors. She was a talented cake decorator, and loved to crochet. Her happiest times were being with her grandchildren and family. John was the light of her life and she missed him dearly. They are together now.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Roy Bostian, Jr.; brother, Calvin Bostian; sister, Carrie Bostian; and daughter-in-law, Kayla Chriswell-Moorman.
Carolyn is survived by her mother, Alta Morine Bostian; son Clayton and daughter-in-law Bonnie; daughter Sonja Honegger and son-in-law Scott; sister, Shelly Fowler; seven grandchildren: Emma Maureen Moorman; Austin and Adam Honegger; Nick, Phillip, and Sarah Carrino and Charissa Hoffman; five great-grandchildren: Amber and Nixon Carrino; Ava and Gavin Hoffman; Shane Moehlenkamp; a host of nieces and nephews and her best friend Shelly Word.
