Neil Allen Skach, 62, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Ferris, Texas on February 5, 2020.
Neil was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on August 16, 1957 to Edward Joseph and Mary (Linsenmeyer) Skach. He attended school in Stillwater, Oklahoma and went on to earn a mechanical engineering degree from OSU in 1980. He married Brenda Stroud in Angleton, Texas on May 16. 1981.
To this union 3 children were born: Amber, James and Daniel. Later, a bonus daughter, Lisa joined the family.
Neil was predeceased by his parents, Ed & Mary Skach.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Brenda, of the home. His children: Amber Crabb and Brandon; James Skach and Leniesa; Daniel Skach and Darlene King; and his “bonus daughter” Lisa Knight.
His grandchildren: Trayton Skach, Jalynn Skach, Hayden Skach, Karson Skach, Tylice Shedrick, Khevan Lewis, Leandre White, Henry Crabb, Nathan Crabb, Tyler Crabb, and Madelyn Crabb.
His brothers: Edward J. Skach Jr.; Leonard J. Skach and Janet; Allen G. Skach and Joy; and Eric W. Skach and Sandra.
Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Patsy Stroud and his brothers-in-law are Leslie Stroud, Terry Stroud, Randy Stroud, and Eddie Stroud.
Neil also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Ripley, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020, with Rev. Michael Chace officiating. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
