William "Tom" Dean, 75, passed away July 13, 2020 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. His memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at Crosspointe Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Pastor Mike King and Dr. Norman Richmond will be officiating. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Tom was born on April 3, 1945 to Everet and Alta Dean in Lubbock, Texas.
He served in the United States Army. He also worked in maintenance at Oklahoma State University and OG&E.
Tom loved the Lord and attended church at Crosspointe church in Stillwater.
During his life, Tom remained curious and wasn’t afraid to try new hobbies; everything from honeybees to raising sheep. Tom loved his wife and family. A few of the things Tom enjoyed were people, his pets, nature, hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, photography, metal detecting, birdwatching, and target shooting. He will be missed by those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of 55 wonderful years, Martha Dean; son, Scott Dean and Erika Driver of Stillwater, OK; daughter, Tammy (Dean) and her husband, Troy McDaniel of Lititz, PA; grandchildren, Austin of Arlington, TX, Emily of Ephrata, PA, Allyson, Abby, and Will of Lititz, PA; and 6 great-grandchildren of Arlington, TX; and his brother, Jim Dean of Dora, OK.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Karman Legacy Hospice Memorial, 1311 S. Western Road, Stillwater, Oklahoma, 74074.
