Obituary

Frank Lozier, 52 of Stillwater, OK. Passed away Tuesday, July 14 surrounded by family. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Frank loved music and playing his guitar and was also an avid movie watcher. One of his all-time favorite movies was “Pointe Break”. Another favorite pass time was watching Oakland Raiders and OSU football. But his proudest achievement was his high school graduation from Ponca City High in 1985 after which he and his lifelong friends from that time moved to California where he constructed and serviced energy producing windmills. In 1990, his son, Brandon was born. Frank’s happiest times of his life was time spent with his son.

Preceding Frank in death was his dad Frank and his mom Salene Whitney both of Stillwater, OK.
Survivors are his son Brandon Lozier and wife Johnie and their son James of Council Bluffs, IA; brother Mike Lozier and wife Diana of Stillwater, OK and their daughter Chelsie Inskeep of Broken Arrow; and brother Rick Lozier and wife Courtney and their children Cale and Mackenzie of Stillwater, OK.

Frank was a loving father, brother and friend to everyone he met.

I met Frank at West hunior High in Ponca City, Ok. We butted heads heads the first day we meet I cant remember why. It was probably over a girl ok ok he was getting too much attention from the girls and I didnt like it. It didnt take long and we become the best of friends. The first time I went to his house he had to show me his guitar telling me how good he could play rock and and roll. Im pretty sure he was tone deff but overtime he did get to be pretty good at it. He had his own band in high school and they called it Oliver Magnum. It was his pation and the band he had was really good. They played at several functions but the one I remember the best was one when he sang Stairway to Heaven as the finaly. He nailed it. Everybody at the party was silent and just listening to him play and sing. When it was over we all went crazy hoping and hollering it was a night many of us will never forget. Frank became my foster brother in junior high and continued to live with us into our senior year in high school. By then we were pretty wild and we got into alot of mischief. Eventually it was more then my parents the state could accept and they separated us and removed him from our home. They only made him sleep in a different place by then we were truley brothers and they could never take that away. Frank was my friend and my brother.
