Cynthia Jane was born on August 11, 1952 to Clifton Eugene (Gene) and Marilyn Reed in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Cindy was bright and charismatic from the time she was born. She was a very athletic child. Cindy loved to swim. She would get up early in the morning about 5:30 a.m. just to swim laps. She was also a great cheerleader for her brother’s baseball team. “Go team Ronnie.” Cindy had a joy for life. She was a ray of sunshine even in the darkest room with her beautiful smile and abundant laughter. As many of us know, Cindy was a one of a kind comedian. She had a quick wit and instant funny response that could make you laugh till you cried.
Cindy leave behind her memories to her mother Marilyn Hicks and her stepfather Jim; brothers Ronald Reed and James Reed. But Most importantly, she left behind the two loves of her life whom she cherished more than life itself, her daughters, Sarah and Emma and their respective families. Cindy left behind nine grandchildren that loved her to pieces, Lamirah, Anonda, Zineriah, Yamondreale, Dirain, Lakari, Karon, Ella, and Maddon. Cindy also left behind her best friend and confidante of forty years Cindi Thomas, along with a host of family and friends far too many to count.
