Obituary

Jane Elizabeth LaFleur was born on March 17, 1955, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and found a home with the best parents ever, Harold and Jane Sanders. She graduated from Anadarko High School in 1973. Janey found success in the world of finance and oil, rising to the top at every place she was employed. A licensed cosmetologist, she shared her skills with a long line of friends and family.
Janey was a born leader and if you followed her, it was an honored position. She was a ball of energy, and she loved life . . . it showed! Janey loved to cook, especially with her grandson, Trey. She was an expert at stained glass, crochet, sewing and laughing. Janey loved hummingbirds, collecting glass, and family she collected along the way. Her favorite words were Momma Janey, Janey Beth, JB, Mamasita and Grandma. She loved to try new things, such as a Louisiana swamp tour in a John boat. She was an avid fisherman, and the very best kind of mom and friend you could hope for. Janey was loyal and fearless. She was beautiful and brave.
Janey's biggest success was seeing her children, Marty and Lacy, the light of her life, grow into beautiful, independent, contributing members of society. She lived for their love, and loved Mandie and Trey when they joined the family.
Janey was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother, Tim.
Those celebrating her life are her children, Marty, Mandie and Trey Hanni; Lacy Archer; her sister, Linda, and her dear friends and her beloved Canaille.

She was my best friend all through junior high and high school in Anadarko, we were in the same grade and tended to get in minor trouble together. In home economics, since we already could sew, we were allowed to bake cookies while the rest of the class learned how to sew. Sometime, we stayed at each others house over night, and made an entirely new outfit from scratch for school the next day. Portable sewing machines! I will miss her so much and as always happens wish I had been better about staying in touch. I wish her family the best. Karen Mitchell.
