Loretta Ann Toles, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21,2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Her funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Loretta was born December 9, 1941, to Floyd and Elizabeth (Kimbler) Stokes in Stillwater, OK. Loretta was the middle child growing up with her older sister Edith Yvonne Stokes and younger sister Frances Susan Frank. They lived and worked on a dairy farm in Ripley, OK, where Loretta graduated from Ripley High School. Loretta attended Business School in Oklahoma City after High School.
Loretta worked at Smith’s Café, TK’s Café, the original Sonic Drive-In on Main Street, Stillwater High School Cafeteria, and later worked for Stillwater Medical Center for 28 years in the Housekeeping and Central Sterile Departments.
Loretta met the love of her life Roy Toles while working at Sonic where Roy delivered supplies for Hagman Wholesale. They were married in Chandler, OK on August 30, 1965. They have been together for 55 years. They had two daughters, Janice Sue Toles (deceased) and Kimberly Denise Wyckoff. Loretta loved to cook, sew, make quilts, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery and read books. Loretta loved being with her Furgranddogs. Loretta attended Ripley Baptist Church and Eagle Heights Baptist Church.
Loretta was predeceased by her father Floyd Stokes, Mother Elizabeth Stokes, Sister Edith Stokes, and daughter Janice Sue Toles.
She is survived by her husband Roy Toles; daughter Kimberly Wyckoff and her husband Mathew; sister Frances Frank and her husband Don; Aunt Millie Sutton; sister-in laws Melba Warren and Norma Toles; Nephew Zachary Frank and his wife Michelle; nephew John Toles and wife Sandy; Niece Karen Barbee and husband Jim. Loretta had numerous cousins, great nieces, and nephews.
