Martha “Jane” Blasier

Beloved Wife, Mother, & Grandmother “Nanny” passed away in her home with her family by her side on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the age of 83. After a long history of declining health, with eyes closed she embraced her peaceful last breath, and started her journey toward heaven.

Jane was born on February 21, 1937 in DeWitt, Arkansas to proud parents Johnnie Benjamin Turner and Ella Mae Turner. Jane was predeceased by her parents and siblings Benny Turner, Bunk Turner, and Virginia Brekhus. She is survived by siblings Rosie Adams, Hazel Robinette, and Rita Turner.

Jane was married to the love of her life Elmer Lyle Blasier on December 27, 1952 in Russellville, Arkansas. She was survived by her husband and their four children: Anita Jane Jones & Husband Floyd Jones, Johnny Lyle Blasier & Wife Cheryl Blasier, Rocky Lynn Blasier, and Kathy Ilene Blasier. She was also survived by her seven grandchildren: Johnie & Frankie Jones, Misty & Matt Zetterberg, Angela & Jon Castellon, Lance & Kelsie Blasier, Krista & David Lyons, Rocky & Jennifer Blasier & Joni & Kyle Jefferies and fourteen great grandchildren: Jadyn Martin, Donavon Zetterberg, Anthony Zetterberg, Peyton Zetterberg, Kash Lyons, Kody Lyons, Ayrali Blasier, Payli Blasier, Kaslyn Blasier, Callie Harding, Clint Harding, Nicholas Jones, and Rikki Jones.

Jane loved to cook, loved music, love to sing and dance, loved her plants and flowers, but above all she loved her family unconditionally. She will live forever in the hearts of those that have known her.

Funeral services will begin Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Ok. Interment will follow at Paradise Cemetery. A livestream of the funeral service will be available at www.strodefh.com
