Obituary for Katherine Alice Doll

Katherine Alice Wilkinson Doll, 77, went to Heaven on November 12, 2020 at home. Now rejoicing in Hallelujah Square. Visitation with family will be held on November 16, 2020 at Strode Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Katherine's celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glencoe First Baptist Church with Brother Irvin Haken, Brother James Beck, and Brother Larry Calvert officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery in Yale. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Katherine was born on February 17, 1943 to Clayton H. Wilkinson and Isabelle May Prince Wilkinson in Pawnee. She attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated in 1961. She married the love of her life Norbert Gene Doll on November 11, 1960 in Pawnee. Together they had three children Deidre, James, Audra, and raised their family south of Glencoe. Katherine worked in Stillwater at First National Bank and then at Oklahoma State University Library Bindery for 23 years. After retirement she went traveling with husband to all 50 states, she loved collecting ladybugs, mountain dew memorabilia, sending encouraging cards to friends and loved ones, and singing in the church.

She was a member of the Glencoe First Baptist Church for 51 years. She held numerous positions in the church. She was a member of the National Crown Victoria Association for 42 years. She had a love for classic cars.

Katherine is survived by her husband of 60 years; brother Michael Wilkinson of Pawnee, sister Linda Wilkinson Brim and husband Russell of Sulphur, Louisiana; her children, Deidre Doll of Glencoe; James Doll of Stillwater; Audra Doll Parmley and husband Michael of Stillwater; grandchildren, Hiliary Shanks Clark and husband Marvin Clark of Stillwater; John Shanks of Glencoe; Victoria Shanks of Tulsa; great-granddaughter Josie Clark; sisters-in-law, Paula Wilkinson of Glencoe; Myra Doll of Tulsa; June Doll of Tulsa; cousins Loretta Beavers of Glencoe; Orvetta Wilkerson of Stillwater and numerous nieces and nephews.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clayton, William, and Jim Wilkinson, and Carl Wright; brother-in laws Wayne, Kenneth, and Orville Doll.
