Doug and I remember the first time we met Jerry and Paula. That had just got married and we’re going to rent out their house. We had answered a rent add from the newspaper and went to see their rental. Paula answered the door and immediately apologized saying “I’m sorry for the house, I just married an engineer.” She steps back and there’s an engine Jerry had taken apart in the living room floor. We laughed so hard and Paula went on to say “I’m hoping I can get the bachelor living out of him.” We ended up renting the house of course! She had such a light about her. Next thing we knew she and I were both expecting and about 3-4 weeks apart, so our next time we got to go through Lamaze together with our husbands. She was always smiling and it was always contagious. Erin, you did an absolutely amazing job today and your mom will forever be so proud of you. Jerry, she loved you with all her heart no doubt. We know she also loved Steven unconditionally and always saw his capabilities. We send lots of prayers of strength and comfort to you all. We are so blessed to have known Paula.
