I can't remember a time when Ken wasn't smiling. He was always such a positive and fun person to have around. I'll never forget one time when I was visiting, he had been deer hunting and brought in a fresh kill and proceeded to carve. I was transfixed and he explained to me in detail every part of what he was doing. This was incredible stuff for an 8 year-old suburban kid. Later that night, the entire family dined on venison. That day, he became one of the coolest people I knew. Thirty years later, he is still one of the coolest people I know, for many reasons other than his deer hunting skills.

Melissa and I will miss him very much and are so thankful for the times we have gotten to spend with him.

We send our love and deepest condolences to the Kings.

Ken was indeed a great guy!! My kids still talk about the Ken King ranch parties at his place. He was funny, loyal, and extremely professional. I was lucky enough to work with him for many, many years. Paula- you are in our prayers!

Ken was a great friend, counsel, and confidant that had an infectious smile and laugh that always lifted me.
If left to the will of my heart, mind, and memories, I could go on and on about our friend KK. Instead, I will keep it short and say “I have never met a better man than Ken King. So many of us are better for having known him.” H.L. Baird - Stillwater
