Dolores Marie Bradley

Dolores Marie Bradley, age 91, died Monday, March 8, 2021 at her home in Stillwater. Graveside funeral services officiated by Reverend Sondra Ladd will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater. Arrangements are under the direction of Strode Funeral Home and Cremation.


Dolores was born to Gus and Bessie (Donaldson) Dotter on September 23, 1929 in Stillwater, and was a Stillwater High School graduate. She was married to Clarence “Hap” A. Houston, then after his death to John R. Bradley Jr. who also precedes her in death.


She was employed as Court Clerk Head of Violations for the City of Stillwater, and worked many of Eskimo Joe’s celebrations. She was a member of the Moose and Elk Lodges, various travel clubs, and the Stillwater Bowling League, and served as either president, secretary, or treasurer of many of these organizations. She was also a member of the Stillwater First Christ Christian Church, and in her early years served as a Sunday school teacher and nursery attendant.


Members of her family include her daughter Kathleen Jackson and husband Robert; her son Randy Dale Houston and wife Marianna; her grandchildren James Bradley, Dayna Bellah, Cliff Bellah, Angela Laura Hensley, and Dan Houston; and her great-grandchildren Brandon Taylor, Stacey Bellah Bombardiere, Courtney Bellah, Kaylee Bellah, Colton Hayden, Gracie, Lilly Anne, Jack, Porter, and Alice.
